NATIONAL UNITY  v/s  RESERVATIONS

Shri Anna Hazare along with his team members have taken  up to fight against CORRUPTION .Those in the team Anna  seem basically the persons with total COMMITMENT to the cause and  have decided to sacrifice their comforts and some have even given up their lucrative jobs just for the sake of the common cause of a common man in the country. The common man in general is facing lot of problems due to this malice spread all over the country, rather in all walks of life. Those in the team have not been given appointments by any Govt.agency nor do they get any monetary benefits for being in the team. During the last agitational program at Ramlila grounds in Delhi, some community based groups accused TEAM Anna for not taking persons from SC/ST or the minority community in the team. The demand could only be considered as having been raised with malicious and negative intentions to damage the movement. But despite this, Annaji seems to have bowed to pressure tactics and unwanted criticism of some selfish and myopic thinkers and has now decided that for spreading the movement, COMMITTEES would be formed all over the country at different levels. He declares that while forming such committees, care would be taken that such committees have representations from all these pressure groups i.e. SC's/ ST's and minority communities etc.

                It seems strange that even for selfless type of actions such caste and community considerations come to the fore. This is even after more than 60 years since such RESERVATIONS were first given recognition which are being  extended year after year just for VOTE BANK CONSIDERATIONS. THE COUNTRYMEN AND POLITICAL CLASS INCLUDING SUCH TYPES OF PRESSURE GROUPS continue to worship the present constitution, but simultaneously, at times when it suits their ends, if any  voice is raised to change this constitution with the new one  based on our own experience of running this country is treated as BLASPHEMIC but at the same time do not wish to follow the advice of makers of this very constitution, who had mandated provisions for RESERVATIONS to be for a limited period . This limited period is already over some decades ago.

                 The request to all the COUNTRYMEN and those at the helm of this movement is to stop treating the country as divided one on such caste/community considerations and whosoever and wherever COMMITED PERSONS ARE AVAILABLE should get recognition and be encouraged to join this movement.. CALIBRE/CAPACITY AND COMMITMENT TO THE CAUSE should get PRECEDENCE OVER any other considerations. Basically bowing before  such unreasonable desires and  demands and even wishes for being treated as separate from others and being  in the position of always demanding need be discouraged. Rather acceding to such unwanted and unreasonable demands need be treated as CORRUPTION of the highest degree and must be fought tooth and nail along with corruption as is being considered now.It indicates that  this type of considerations by TEAM ANNA that  due to unethical  attacks from some corners, has lost strength to face the onslaughts. This may be more SATVIK for the team to devote their energies in spreading the massages of what other ailments the NATION IS INFESTED from, such as wrong political system which is the cause of numberless political outfits who keep busy in dividing the society for their own selfish ends, wrong ELECTION PROCESS where by contestants have to spend lot of money  and to recover the money spent, may indulge in many types of corrupt practices, CONTROL OVER SPREAD OF POPULATION, pollution of all types, rush of persons at all places including trains, roads, hospitals, schools, etc. and the continuous take over of agricultural land in order to accommodate the increasing population and creating more infrastructure, the day to day increase in consumption, the dereliction of duty at all levels from bottom to the top etc. We hope this will make the movement more meaningful. In the meantime TEAM ANNA  As we see is getting BAD NAME  for being too much impatient to see that LOKPAL BILL as suggested by them is passed. It may be more prudent to permit the system to think coolly and do their work on the subject. The team should overlook all criticisms from vested interests and should not dissipate their energies on such matters.
